Credit Crunch Opens Doors for Management Franchise

A management franchise specialising in refurbishing existing kitchens and bedrooms is experiencing unprecedented demand from customers who are deciding to ‘improve’ rather than ‘move’.

In the last three months, many franchisees of Kitchen & Bedroom Transformations (KABT) have recorded their own personal bests for monthly sales, with the Oxford branch beating all records by selling £85k of new business in October alone.

Director of KABT Michelle Peters explains the reasons behind the company’s success.

“The current economic climate and its effect on the housing market has lead to people staying put and refurbishing their homes instead of moving house,” she says.
