Children Franchise Wins Award

Special mention to The Creation Station, the children franchise we mentioned last week was up for award.

Well, turns out that the founder, Sarah Cressall (interviewed on BusinessWings.co.uk), triumphed at the Leicestershire Women of Achievement of Awards, winning the Business Woman of the Year accolade.

The Creation Station provides hands-on art and craft exploration sessions for young children, whose imaginations can safely run riot using a wide range of materials, tools and ideas.

Children's Franchise in Spotlight

From ThisisBusiness-EastMidlands.co.uk: After the birth of her first child in 2002, Sarah Cressall decided to change her career to spend more time with her family.

She started a business from home, in Loughborough, organising children's events and activities.

Today, that business, a children's franchise called The Creation Station, has spawned five franchises across the UK and is planning to open a children's centre in Egypt.
