Frank Bigley transformed his life when he left London for Sheffield to run his own MBE franchise.
Now approaching the fifth anniversary of opening his parcel courier franchise, Frank believes it was one of the best things he's ever done.
“We’re in an excellent central location, ideally situated to meet a wide range of local needs,” he says.
“The centre is close to the large international teaching hospitals, in between the two universities and close to the Home Office, which has become a regular customer for documents that need to be collected and sent securely overseas.
“We’re busy right across the board, for all our wide range of services, from antiques packing and shipping, through printing services to shipping for students.”
“The centre is doing really well and we are very busy. I certainly wouldn’t want to be employed again.
"It took me 20 years to realise that I don’t like working for other people and I’m much happier being independent. I joke that I don’t report to anyone any more – except the wife, the bank manager and the landlord, etc.”
